Yesterday, Today, and Forever:
In a Moment of Time the Birth of God’s Son
In a Moment of Time a need was ordered,
As the sin of man was making its way.
Into the hearts of humanity this entity of evil,
Would call the Trinity to release this scourge.
In a Moment of Time O House of David,
The Lord himself will give this sign,
The Virgin shall be with child; a son,
And shall name him Immanuel.
In a Moment of Time an angel was ordered,
To a Virgin he was sent with news from God.
Your grace is now known to deliver a Savior,
Behold you will conceive; and bear a son.
In a Moment of Time, Mary would visit,
Her cousin would say; Blessed are you,
Who believed what was spoken to you,
Would be fulfilled by the Lord in time.
In a Moment of Time My soul would proclaim,
The Greatness of the Lord, my spirit rejoices.
The Mighty One has done great things,
And Holy is his name from age to age.
In a Moment of Time shepherds were startled,
As angels above sang in exultation.
To you is born a Savior for all,
For today in the City of David you will find:
In a Moment of Time was a multitude of angels,
Their news became the Glory of God.
And suddenly there was this heavenly host,
Singing “Glory to God in the highest.”
