Jesus, take care of everything

     Are you lonely? Jesus is your friend. Are you hungry? Jesus gives Himself as satisfying food. Are you frustrated? Jesus is an excellent therapist. We don't need to search any further, because Jesus is the answer to all that we seek. The "Surrender" prayer, "Jesus, I Surrender myself to You, take care of everything", is a Spiritual remedy that actually does take care of everything. In it we are professing that we are willing to accept and follow the Peace that is given to us when we let Jesus take our burdens. They can be quite heavy at times, but if we say we trust Him and mean it, with all of our hearts, He never ever lets us down. It's only when we ignore His words, which are plentiful as we see in the Bible, that we have every remedy to live a good and prosperous life. Even in the midst of Sorrow of Death. Even if it's been the 100th time of Forgiving, even in the sting of desperation and disappointment. Even in hours that tend to drag on with no visible relief. He is working. Trying to teach us something. We are His students and He is our Teacher. By allowing Him to take care of everything, He can do His work. The world tries it's hardest to promote fear and that makes us scramble for a quick fix. Not so in God's world. There, we walk patiently, lovingly and joyfully. Content that all we have to do is trust Him. The elation one feels when we do this feels like a surge of energy throughout our whole being and brings our thoughts to Joy and Recognition that it is Him who dwells within our Souls. When that feeling happens, sometimes we are brought to tears. Tears of Thanksgiving. That's all He asks of us. Our thanks. 

     So next time when things get tough, turn your heart and surrender to a God who truly does and will take care of everything. He never lets us down. So we live the way He created us to be. Full of love, trust and radiance in our reliance on Him who is "not impossible". So say with all your heart.....
