Pray, Hope and Don't Worry
When we keep an account of all of our trials and tribulations, that is when time passes slowly. Recalling our woes only makes our hearts grow cold to the ever so many blessings that God has deemed to bless us with. All things shall pass. Whether it be the death of a long suffering in illness, or worry that keeps haunting us even on a sunny day. All are lessons. Lessons in the school of life. Where there is a down, there always comes an up. We must not dwell on the misfortunes or sufferings but rejoice in them. Jesus's Resurrection proves this as He was persecuted and then executed falsely, a great Salvation was won for us. So too, our sufferings and persecutions. All that is offered up is not forsaken. Is not in vain. God, in all of His Glory and Majesty, preserves us while our mortal bodies age and grow weaker. Our childhood passes, our puberty passes, our teens pass and then to come to full-fledged adults where that also passes into death, until it passes no more. Even in our Judgment of Purgatory that also passes until we are triumphant to our admittance to Heaven. Where the final passage comes.
Until then, run the good race. Let time be our friend, using it wisely. When our passage reaches the steps of the Kingdom of God.
