The Need for TLC for TLM
Gracefully the vibrant red leaf drifts to Earth;
its lifespan ended upon a tree.
Majestically it floats, suspended for a moment,
in the gentle, caressing breeze.
The sun glistens through its adorned dew drops,
illuminating the leaf’s blazing edged spire.
Mindful of the Sacred Heart,
that throbs with the Holy Spirit afire.
Gently nature’s wax coated member settles,
to await the Creator’s regenerative soil, in His Mystery.
Then, a hand grasps the stem, lifts the unblemished leaf,
determined to preserve this blush of Divine Mercy.
Like the souls of the just, that sparkle in night skies,
even God’s most modest, living designs
capture appreciative eyes that see
all life merits due honor upon demise.
