The Last Penny

We will all pay the last penny

The final cent of our human journey

Before the Lord you will be judged

And payment demanded not fudged

Hypocrites aren’t we all

Small big round skinny or tall

The Pharisees were told to their face

A purgative judgment ends their case

So to it will be for us

Though some will earn eternal justice

A fiery endless painful reminder

That they chose not Higher but lower

All will be judged and pennies required

How few or many is up to how your life you kept ordered
