Hope. A sweet gift from God
There is a Saint in the making within us all. We ask God for the Grace to remove the scales from our eyes. To see it and live in a way we were all created to be. That darn free will gets in the way lots of times and blinds us with pride and our feelings have extra sensory added a million times in certain situations. Anger, fear, retaliation, all tools that are presented to us, can be good, if used with "quality". Not quantity. Fear of God is good. It helps remind us who is in charge. Anger can be used when there is a dark Injustice being done. Retaliation is used in numbers who feel the same, with the purpose for good. Presenting itself for the upholding of the innocent who cannot speak for themselves, therefore, retaliating against a harm that can come to them from those being led by evil. But we must remember. It is in the "quality" of the deed. The "quality" of the emotion that matters.
All that is done in the Name of Jesus Christ, allows Him to use us as His Saints on His behalf. We get worn down by this world and it's scourges, but keeping constant with prayer and the Sacraments, the Saint within us can be released. The comfort and release of positivity into the atmosphere, can negate the negativity that can swell within each of us, when we stray from God's Holy Mighty protection.
All Saints have struggled. Each and every one of them are our anchor to the boat of Christ. Where He does calm the raging sees that we try to swim in. Reaching their hand down to us when we feel we are sinking. Telling us, "you can do it. Just hold on! "
I want to be a follower of Jesus. I want to eat at the table in Heaven with all of the Saints. I asked Him to bless me and allow me into the warmth of His Sacred Heart. To have made me in His image, He has already blessed me. Now it's up to me. It's up to all of us to become the Saints we were destined to be.
