Pope Benedict XVI Forbids Catholics From Voting For Hillary Is a False Statement Part 2

My friend responded to my first post, "So you put out fake statements to prove your point?"

I responded, " The teachings of the Catholic Church prove his point. Both Popes are totally against abortion. It is a black and white issue...no shades of grey."

Another friend replied, "Neither Pope in question said this or promotes lying and deceiving, Pray for USA certainly does."

My response was, "A fake comment that confirms the teachings of the Catholic Church on abortion is as valid as if they made the statement.

Any Catholic involved in abortion in any way without true repentance is risking eternity in Hell. The truth is the truth when it comes to Catholic doctrine.

If asked whether a Catholic can vote for Hillary, both Popes would defer to the Church's doctrine on the intrinsic evil of abortion. They cannot outright tell Catholics to not vote for a certain candidate because they are pastors of souls first.

Church leaders want even apostate Catholics to remain in the Church in the hope they will repent of their sins and receive the benefits of all the sacraments. Jesus died for all sins and sinners. Salvation is a free gift every person can recieve if they repent and turn away from their sins.

They are very concerned with Catholics who excommunicate themselves through their thoughts and actions and have yet to repent. That is why they are such great advocates of education, attending Mass, going to Reconciliation and prayer.

Hillary supports partial birth abortion as does her party platform. It is one of the most heinous acts that could ever be done to an innocent child that could easily live outside the womb.

It is hard to believe that anyone can consistently support this barbaric act. It is a crime against God and humanity.

I pray for everyone daily that is involved in abortion in any way. I have been defending life at abortion clinics for over 36 years. My heart grieves for every baby lost, mom injured and family destroyed by abortion.

I fear that many Catholics will end up in Hell for eternity because of their focus on social justice rather than the intrinsic evil of abortion. Throughout history, God has harshly dealt with civilizations that murdered His greatest gift to parents.

Lets pray He does not give us the justice our country deserves. Everyone needs to pray for his mercy and forgiveness for all of our sins."
