After many months of watching speeches, reading policy, hearing political commentary and endless debate: I’ve decided that this November I will be casting my vote for Hillary Clinton. This was no easy decision to make so before you jump the gun, allow me to elaborate on how I came to this conclusion.
Some of you may know that I’m strongly pro-life, and that the issue is very dear to my heart and I have been very outspoken on it for almost 20 years now.
Now, you may me asking yourselves, “Rob, how could you vote for a corrupt, manipulative, pathological liar who believes full-term children in the womb deserve no protection from being ripped apart by forceps?’ Uh, the answer is obvious- because Trump calls people fat. Now to be fair to me, you must understand that there is no great option in this election. I want to make it clear: I am neither a supporter of Hillary nor Trump. I just rather have a highly incompetent former secretary of state who put at risk our national security, lies constantly, intimidates rape victims, wants to raise taxes, takes donations from the worst human rights violators, got rich off Haiti’s disaster, and defended a 12 year old’s rapist knowing full well he was guilty, and later laughed about it. That’s why I choose Clinton, also because of Lebron.
Granted, this may seem like a lot to have to defend, but I’m Hispanic so I automatically vote democrat regardless, irrespective of the fact that almost their entire platform goes against my values. Why would I, as a good Christian not vote for someone who wants to curb religious freedom? It’s not my right to impose my beliefs on others, so I rather give them up instead. Unlike Trump, Hillary cares about people. So much so that she wants to further restrict or possibly eliminate the 2nd amendment. Why? Because guns are bad and we don’t need to have them. If we’re ever in trouble we can always pick up the phone and call other people with guns to come and help us, while we pray (but not out loud) that they get there in time.
Lastly, after all the progress we’ve made with Obama, how could we now abandon the cultural and political ideologies that have led us to not being able to tell the difference between a man and a woman as well as litigating against a group of nuns? Now is not the time, people.
