Dear Church, We Need to Talk About Loneliness
Everyone’s racing ahead—
new jobs, new beginnings, kids, awards.
And you?
You’re still waiting.
But let me say this out loud:
You are NOT behind.
You're not forgotten. You're not unlucky.
You’re being prepared. Protected. Positioned.
God isn’t in a hurry like the world is.
He’s not checking Instagram milestones.
He’s building something in you that requires time, testing, and trust.
When God has something BIG planned for your life, He takes His time.
He hides you, not to punish you—but to preserve you.
He hid Moses before leadership.
He hid Joseph before influence.
He even hid Jesus before the miracles.
So why do you think your delay means defeat?
Maybe you didn’t miss the train.
Maybe you’re on a divine schedule that no one else can see.
Keep growing. Keep showing up.
Keep becoming the person your answered prayer needs you to be.
You’re not waiting in vain.
You’re being readied for a moment the world hasn’t seen yet.
And when your season comes—because it will—
you’ll look back and say:
“Now I understand. He wasn’t late. He was preparing me to carry it well.”
You’re not delayed. You’re destined. God didn’t deny you—He’s developing you for something greater.
