Prayer for Love to Stay
Some days, regret feels heavier than hope.
We replay what we should have done, should have said.
We let our failures define us more than God’s grace does.
But what if today we chose to count reasons to smile instead?
The breath in our lungs.
The second chances we didn’t deserve but got anyway.
The quiet faithfulness of God who refuses to give up on us.
We weren’t created to be prisoners of the past.
Jesus didn’t rise from the dead to leave us buried in guilt.
He calls us to abundant life—even with scars.
Even with memories we wish we could erase.
It doesn’t mean forgetting what hurt us or ignoring what went wrong.
It means believing God can redeem anything.
That He can turn our worst moments into wisdom.
That He can use our pain to help someone else heal.
Today, lets choose to see the reasons to smile.
To laugh at our imperfections.
To thank God for mercy.
To live like we are forgiven, loved, and sent to love in return.
Lord, teach me to count grace before regret.
To see Your light even in my shadows.
To smile, because You have given me hope.
