Why Does He Give Us Others?

This world is full of all sorts of people. And you just never know who God is going to place in your life. Some of those are meant to teach you a particular lesson. Some are meant to inspire you. Some are good, some are bad. Some stay for long, and some don’t. And some are meant to bring you closer to the one God who made us all.

Those are the ones to hang onto, because they are rare. I know in my own life, the people who bring me closer to God are some of the most dear to me. They are faith-filled, prayerful, compassionate and loving. They lift others up when they are down. They pray for others when prayer is needed most. They don’t put others down. They accept and inspire. And there are bits and pieces of those people that I want for my own myself. And why wouldn’t I? Why wouldn’t I want others to be closer to God? Why wouldn’t I want others to see me and really see God as I do in others?

You never know who He plans on blessing you with, but be that person that blesses and that person who leads others to Him.
