So oft we choose to live in despair

Just look at society it seems a mess everywhere

A war in that country someone nearby accosted

A raise in taxes has  everyone frosted

Just what he wants

The Evil One has us it seems on all fronts

Our angst is putting our minds out of control

Like a mare when something approaches her foal

All this is because of Satan’s temptations

He tries to hook all peoples in all nations

There is but only one way out

Get off of his temptation route

Time now to save you from yourself

Throw out the devil from your minds shelf

Call now to Jesus with all your might

Saving one from oneself requires an ally in the fight

Call on Jesus Who cherishes all that you are

Bad times evil times He is never far

For He lives in your heart watching and waiting

And with Him you can stop all this evil abating

Call on Him now

With sincerity and pow

You’ll start to witness the power of love

Born by God our Creator of all below here and above

Trust in the Lord always listen and heed

Ask and He will provide exactly what you need

He will always be there to save you from yourself

If only you ask and pray and never put Him on a shelf
