Mass Migration and The Unprepared for Death
Meditation Prayers
Submitted by Thomas Stidl
In a small prayer pamphlet called, “Companion Prayers”, I found a meditation on Our Blessed Mother and God, the Heavenly Father. Saint Anthony of Padua wrote the meditation. The meditation is as follows:
“The Virgin Mary gave birth to her Son. His Father gave Divine Nature, His Mother human nature. His Father gave majesty, His Mother weakness. This is Emmanuel, God-with-us. Who therefore can stand against us? We should have no fear. Victory is assured to our side because God is on our side.”
We go through many trials and tribulations in our lives. When we experience these things we should always ask God for the courage, strength, and fortitude to assist us in conquering the evil foes in our lives. On the flipside of that coin, we also experience joys and happiness throughout our life. We should share our joys and happiness with God also. We should hold nothing back in our relationship with God. After all as the Baltimore Catechism stated, we are placed on earth, “to know, love, and serve God in this life and be happy with Him forever in Heaven.” God wants every part of us including our sin nature. He can then wash our sin nature away with the blood from Jesus Christ’s side and heal and refresh us with the water from Jesus Christ’s side
Until next time, Laus Tibi, Christe. Deo Gratias. Gloria Tibi Domini. Praise be to God. See you in Paradise.
