Mighty Signs

Don’t listen to mere mortal man

He will do anything to gain an upper hand

For man is not one to be your fan

Listen instead to He Who created water and land

One day He will return here

This promise He did make

His Spirit always near

Let Him comfort when you fear

When is that most tend to ask

Will our Lord Jesus come back

All we know is will He put us to the task

So try now to be on the right track

Don’t listen to the impersonators

The ones selling Kool-Aid on the corners

Wars and famines from evil instigators

Look instead to the sky for wonders

For from there mighty signs are a coming

From high above awesome sights

Stars blazing and meteors flaming

His coming announced Angelic delights
