THE LEANING CROSS
THE SPIRAL ROAD
One’s life, spirals through an hourglass. The molecules of your being, descend through its funnel, controlled by the Lord’s Hand. For the birthdate of yourself, was also, a predestined fate of your future. A time limit—of trials and searching, of unpredictable circumstances—churns within, to pursue an unknown outcome; for no one knows the end time of each. But between is relevant to your spiritual destination, and each is given the realm of time allotted. For some, time is short; for some, time is long —a preset unknown time, to resolve this life, to the next: a time of preparation, a time of spiritual vision, or stifled in materialistic entrapment.
When each’s time is finished, the Lord’s Hand is put forth to receive each soul—whether clean or scorched. For this reason the hourglass of your being, is processed: each second, refining and molding, probing and nourishing, to each one’s talent and spiritual vision; for no each is the same; all are different. So too, it is with the Lord’s Love: each receiving a portion to nurture the soul in compassion, each responding with acceptance or rejection. For the graces of many are lost with neglect and distractions. One must pay attention to one's calling, to make progress.
Each hourglass of life, retains all that one is—filling up at the bottom, a summation of toil, good works, of all achievements and failures, of love: a total account of all our being.
Of each life there is, there is another to help it to its destination. So like the sea, each wave pushing onto the other, until each wave reaches the shoreline; so like the angels, directing from above, inspire and delegate spiritual guidance; so also, one must know, each life is chosen to perform certain tasks made possible by the Creator. Each is precious, and requires special attention from the Lord’s Hand. Each life, has certain gifts bestowed onto oneself; so each has something to contribute.
For each life an hourglass ticks away, not knowing when the spiritual molecules of one’s self will be completed, to be gathered up, and brought to the Lord. This thought alone should help to instill the importance of the work to be done, before, the finish of each; for the molecules of one’s self brought to the Lord, are ones of goodness, compassion and love. How much of yourself will go with the Lord? How much of yourself will be left?
So like the traveler, it is best to have your bags packed in readiness, for the Lord has given you the directions to your destination. But it is best to study the map, to know the way. For each journey, the spiral road has many turns, but the destination's the same.
If you meet someone on your journey who is lost, then share your map and send him on his way, for the choice is his, to follow the correct path. For the path of each, is long or short—a time allotted by the Lord—but the right time for each. This period of time is necessary, for each life in the hourglass, passes through, from here to there. Therefore the heart needs preparation, for your meeting with the Lord. But the Lord shows concern in this matter, and has mercy on you, for your efforts.
No life is to be cut short or taken away beforehand—this, is God’s business—as preparation of each soul is incomplete and not passed through their hourglass of allotted time. Only the Lord calls each self by name—for it is He, who has written the invitation. For you to come uninvited is not pleasing to the Lord, since a room for you has not yet been prepared and you must wait elsewhere. So too, no allotted unborn goes unnoticed to the Lord, for these allotted gifts go unused and this interferes with the Lord’s distribution to benefit mankind.
When your eyes meet the Lord, the baggage you carried is opened, and your compassionate heart, is your gift to the Lord; as this, is what He wanted, all along. For this reason you should pack lightly and carry only what is important. What pleases the Lord, is compassionate gifts onto each other—for this coincides with the compassionate Love of Divine Mercy, the Lord has given from the Cross.
When each one passes through their hourglass of life, the glass cannot be turned over, nor extended. Life here, is completed. Your spiritual molecules are collected and ascended to the next level: a level of eternity with the Lord, or a level of uncertainty, or a level of separation. So be, where your heart is; so be your level of destination. Stay alert and be ready—you do not know how fast the hourglass fills the bottom nor if something interrupts your journey, and all is done.
If you have prepared yourself well, you will take the Lord’s Hand in delight, when He sends for you. Surely, your room will be close to His, for compassionate love, is what holds everything, together. So it is, your friendship with the Lord, will last, forever and ever.
