The Journey of love then the tragedy of Death!

I am speaking of the attraction of lovers who meet with a goal to share their God-given ability to procreate their love with children; the very effort of life-giving joy.  Looking around at the loss of faith that has placed these two in a precarious position that no longer is the grace-filled virtue of God’s commandments.   Not very many have children, and raise them with care to grow as a reflection of Christ.  With the influx of evil that allows us to murder our children, both in the womb and now the numbers of post-birth murder.  What has happened to the moments when parents discovered a pregnancy was imminent and nothing else took priority except preparing for the arrival of this newest member of the family?

One time, more than several years ago, those of us who learned right from wrong, especially the respect towards our neighbors, became embedded in our minds and hearts.  Treat everyone as if they were your brother or sister and stand up for their significance as another human like ourselves.  

Then, with the entrance into the modern age of selfishness all we learned has gone away and it’s now “whatever I have becomes mine without sharing it.”  It isn’t giving away money or other treasures that is the crux of holding onto.  It is the respect for human rights that seems to have fluttered away like dust in a windstorm.  

This is the current battle between pro-lifers and pro-abortionists.  You and I grew up believing life at all stages was something that God gave us.  How quickly we were on the defense of the unborn, waiting for the birth of our first, second, and as many as were able to breathe life from our love as parents.  We are the ones who shudder when hearing how so many mothers have chosen to give up motherhood.  But the worse reality has now become when our own daughters and granddaughters are choosing to eliminate the human life they carry in their wombs and our support for their choice has found an army of evil-doers that join murder in a legal way.

November 5, 2024 will place decisions upon every voter to stand up for life or be willing to allow the current president and his regime to put Roe vs Wade back as a right to become like the ancient sacrifice of children to Baal, Ashtoreth, and Molech.  What kind of god is the current society placing as gospel in place of the God of heaven who is Jesus Christ and the Holy Trinity?   The awful truth is our generation has turned their heads to the gross term of infanticide.  We as parents and grandparents cannot stop our offspring from going this far, but to approve of our silence is to create the sounds of silence that are written on the walls of history.     

Standing still with our heads in the sand doesn’t make the evil of abortion go away.  What it will accomplish is a society that will be judged and we who support this by silence will also be judged by the highest court.  Let these children know that what they choose is immoral if that term has any more power to wake people up.  Next to idolatry and ignoring God, exterminating our children is the most heinous sin a human being can commit.  “Samaria shall expiate her guilt, for she has rebelled against her God.  They shall fall by the sword, their little ones shall be dashed to pieces, their expectant mothers shall be ripped open.”  (Hos 14: 1).    

However, the extermination of babies is not for a nation’s disobedience, but the sin of greed that is assumed to be necessary for freedom from raising children as God has prescribed.  

God blessed them saying, “Be fertile and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it.” (Gn 1: 28).   Never once did God tell Adam and Eve to live their lives alone, but demanded them to be fertile and multiply.  But if we look at 2024 and the intensity to gather as much wealth and find pleasure from sex and power, it is apparent that in most cases raising children through natural birth is far from the experience of modern man.  

What is next?  A disappearing society with human procreation is no longer a goal, but a tragedy that man has created by himself.  This along with so many evils that exist, mankind will tell God to leave us alone.  That is the scenario that exists in hell.  “But the children of the kingdom will be driven out into the outer darkness, where there will be wailing and grinding of teeth.”  (Mt 8: 12).

A world without God will be an existence without hope.
