Sideline Healer

If you truly want Him to heal

Before Him pray and kneel

Ask only from your heart

Have faith and patience from the start

If you truly want Him to move a mountain

Be prepared to see it with amazement and emotion

This is not being done for pleasure or show

But because He loves you dearly please know

Your request it too must be reasonable

Not like a magician’s trick or something from a fable

Do not get caught up in show and mockery

He’ll see right through the trickery

Ask Him to save a repentant sinner’s soul

That is truly a remarkable goal

And one that won’t make earthly headlines

But praying like that pulls you onto His field and off of Earth’s sidelines
