A Miracle for Mother Angelica?

What??? How can I say such a thing??? There are so many wonderful Democrats who are practicing Catholics! People like Nancy Pelosi, Joe Biden or newsman Chris Matthews. ...but are they really Roman Catholic? It takes more than a personal declaration to be Roman Catholic! To be Roman Catholic, you must subscribe to the tenets of the Holy Roman Catholic Church and be willing to bend your will to the Magisterium and that of the Holy Father on matters of Doctrine. If you cannot do this, then what is the point of calling yourself a Roman Catholic? If you don't live like one; why say you're one?
This problem actually began with “Roe vs. Wade” when the Supreme Court felt obligated to Legislate from the Bench on the matter of abortion. ...and the Democrat Party began to include a “Pro-Choice Plank” in their ideological Platform. In case you don't know what a political party platform is, it's a group of ideals, beliefs or goals that the political party puts forth to their followers so as to elicit a sense of community where all the members believe the same things (mostly). In a way...it's a lot like belonging to a church. As long as you believe what they do and live by their rules, you are welcome! If you choose to think and live differently than they do, you may find yourself less than welcome. Political parties aren't really looking to save you, however. They are looking for power. Their platform is a means by which to attract the allegiance of a populace by inciting ideas and morays that will inspire the masses to “vote” for their party and give it the power it desires and in return, they will return something to their electorate to assure future voting in their favor.
As I was saying...the platform that we need to be concerned about is the Democrat Platform and primarily it's Pro-Choice “Plank.” We can review the “plank's” wording from the Democrat 2012 Platform on Pro-Choice:
Protecting A Woman's Right to Choose. The Democratic Party strongly and unequivocally supports Roe v. Wade and a woman's right to make decisions regarding her pregnancy, including a safe and legal abortion, regardless of ability to pay. We oppose any and all efforts to weaken or undermine that right. Abortion is an intensely personal decision between a woman, her family, her doctor, and her clergy; there is no place for politicians or government to get in the way. We also recognize that health care and education help reduce the number of unintended pregnancies and thereby also reduce the need for abortions. We strongly and unequivocally support a woman's decision to have a child by providing affordable health care and ensuring the availability of and access to programs that help women during pregnancy and after the birth of a child, including caring adoption programs.
Note that the wording is such that it only takes into account the woman's point of view and gives her sole discretion in the “choosing.” The Holy Mother Church takes the view that the soul is bestowed upon the new human life at the moment of Conception. In the eyes of the Church, this is a “person” with all the inalienable rights of Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness as endowed by his/her Creator. Also note, that logically, if it's a woman's right to choose what happens to her body, then half of all abortions must stop because a young female has the right to choose what happens to her body. ...and the assumption of self preservation should preclude a mother's right to eliminate her offspring daughter. Speaking of offspring...”offspring” is the English translation of the Latin word “Fetus.” So when you hear Pro-Choice advocates bandy about the term “fetus” as if it's less than human, remember that “fetus” directly translates to “offspring” (...or in more colloquial terms...”Baby” or “Child”).
Now...let's take a look at what the Roman Catholic Church says about abortion in section 2272 of the Catechism of the Catholic Church:
“2272 Formal cooperation in an abortion constitutes a grave offense. The Church attaches the canonical penalty of excommunication to this crime against human life. “A person who procures a completed abortion incurs excommunication latae sententiae,”77 “by the very commission of the offense,”78 and subject to the conditions provided by Canon Law.79 The Church does not thereby intend to restrict the scope of mercy. Rather, she makes clear the gravity of the crime committed, the irreparable harm done to the innocent who is put to death, as well as to the parents and the whole of society. (1463)”

The key words in this excerpt are “Formal Cooperation.” What is formal cooperation? Formal Cooperation is the mindful support of an act with deliberate intent. You may not perform the actual “act” yourself, but your support is crucial in the act being performed. In other words, your “Cooperation” is necessary and deliberate for the act to be performed in the first place and to propagate future acts of the same ilk. For instance...let's say some guy (we'll call him the Archer) likes to kill people with a bow and arrow. He tells you that he likes to kill people with his bow and arrow, but he's not rich and he asks if you can spare a few arrows. You feel he's not about to shoot you and you may also believe that the people he's killing are “problematic,” so you say sure...here's some arrows. By giving him those arrows, you are personally responsible for each and every person he kills with those arrows, as if you drew the bow yourself! You have “formally cooperated” with the murder of each of those people.
Let's say that you've run out of arrows. You're “friend” the “Archer” is a little upset with you because he wants to shoot some people and you've let him down. So...you go to your other friends and tell them about the need for arrows and what they'll be used for. They say “Sure...we'll give you some arrows! As long as we're not being shot it should be fine and in some cases it might be a good idea to be rid of some of those “problematic” people!” They give you their arrows...you give them to your friend, the Archer, and he goes out to shoot some more people. Each person that has contributed arrows has “formally cooperated” with each and every murder. Even those who do not give arrow and only give their consent are guilty of formally cooperating as they directly support the decision of those who do. Their consent gives credence to the overall "moral validity" of "murder by arrow" held by the "Archer" and his followers.
Soon the “Archer” needs more and more arrows to satisfy his lust for killing. Your supporting friends say, “Hey! Why are you always coming to us for his arrows? There are lots of other people with arrows besides us! Why don't you get some from them?” So you and your supporting friends go to the “other people” and say, “We need arrows for the 'Archer' so he can kill people!” They reply, “No way! We don't want him to shoot people and we certainly don't want to contribute arrows to his killing!” Then you say, “...but you must! What he does is good! He must have arrows!”
Despite their objections you and your supporters overpower the “other people” and take their arrows by force. These “other people” are not “Formally Cooperating” as they do not have the same intent and are not guilty of any of the resultant murders.
How do we correlate these acts with the Democrat Party and their plank for Pro-Choice? Since it is the objective of the Democrat Party to maintain abortion as “safe and legal” for any and all reasons, any support of any Democrat or Member of the Democrat party can be construed as “Formally Cooperating” with each and every abortion that occurs in the United States or its Territories. If you are a Democrat...vote for a Democrat...Fund a Democrat...support causes for the Democratic Party or any of its membership or followers, you are in effect supporting an organization who has decreed that abortion is a mainstay of their political principles! Since the penalty (or consequence) of formally cooperating with any abortion is “Excommunication... latae sententiae,” no Democrat can be a Roman Catholic as they have been automatically excommunicated!
You feel that this is a harsh depiction of reality, however, even if a Democrat claims to be Pro-Life, you cannot trust that this person will not support legislation for his associates within the Democrat party that will enable those associates to maintain their positions within the party and that those associates will NOT support Roe vs. Wade and the Pro-Choice Plank! Anyone who says that supporting Democrats is NOT “formally cooperating” is himself, “formally cooperating” with each and every abortion that occurs!!! The only way to be able to vote for Democrats in the future is if the Democrat Party rejects their Pro-Choice plank and adopts a Pro-Life Plank...which is unlikely to ever happen. Therefore, if you wish to be and remain Roman Catholic, you may not vote for any Democrat or support any of their works...no matter how good those acts seem. If you trade your soul to the Devil for a Charitable act in return, you have still lost your soul!
Many think Nancy Pelosi is a wonderful Catholic!!! I suggest you look up Nancy Pelosi's trip to the Vatican. The Holy Father refused to meet with her in public in his normal reception area and refused to meet with her in front of anyone else! He met with her in an anti-chamber off of his reception area. Nancy Pelosi never touts her meeting with the pontiff!!! There were no sound bites...no photo ops!!! Of course we may never know exactly what His Holiness said to her, but it was severe enough that she never speaks of it. The resultant stories between what she said to the press about their meeting and what the Vatican's retort was, do not agree! Why is that?
I reiterate...There is no such thing as a "Roman Catholic" Democrat [ that does not reject their Pro-Choice plank and adopt a Pro-Life Plank]! They are all excommunicated [“Excommunication... latae sententiae,” due to formal cooperation]!!!
