Forgive them for they know not what they do.

When Jesus died on the cross he said to forgive them for they know not what they do. This is mind-blowing to consider. Jesus forgave those who were killing him. Although that is an extreme example of forgiveness, it can still be an example for us to follow. People will wrong you in life and it can hurt.

When this occurs we must remind ourselves that perhaps the person was well intended. It could be that they truly know not what they do.

Keep in mind there are times when we did the wrong thing and yet we believed we were right in the moment. Only God knows all so sometimes we simply know not what we do. Forgive, me because no one is perfect.
