Something is Happening in Philadelphia

We’ve met someone!!
They actually get us!!!
We are perfectly ourselves with them!!
Oh, how our hearts soar, we can’t wait to see them again to share our innermost thoughts and dreams with them.
We’re in love!!!
Are you in love with your creator? Is he everything to you? Can you talk with him as you would to the love of your life?
We should be able to answer yes to all these questions! If we cannot then we need to uncover why.
The process of uncovering is the process of prayer. When we delve (dig) into the big picture and grasp that we are truly nothing, a spec in a moment in history then the search for the ‘more than” has begun.
This search marks the beginning of our love story with our creator. It brings us to the realization that we are uniquely and perfectly made, a one of a kind masterpiece. It is truly hard to wrap ourselves around this truth.
Start there and ponder the uniqueness of you. As we do Our Lord will reveal himself to us in the moments of our life story. Our lives no longer become one event after another but a sequence of events that have Divine meaning and purpose.
When live in the light of these truths our lives take on a much deeper meaning and purpose. We begin to live our lives against the backdrop of eternity and our very existence becomes a prayer.
In gratitude for our life and unique purpose, we become keenly aware of the times when we were or were not living in these truths. We see God’s hand in the moments and situations of life always listening for his divine directives.
We begin to see others as we see ourselves, uniquely made flawed human beings, so we begin to treat others with compassion and mercy as we are aware of our own humanness.
Forgiveness becomes more freely given as we see how much our Lord forgives us on any given day. As we know we fall daily and are certainly a work in progress. We beg Our Lord to help us become better instruments. The more he gives the more we see our weaknesses allowing us to go outside ourselves and intercede for those around us.
Lifting them up to Our Lord, asking the Lord to strengthen them on their journey of right understanding, the knowledge that they too are beautifully and wonderfully made.
Prayer, our love story with our Lord.
