We can think of God in various ways as Our Creator. One way I like to think of Him is as a Jigsaw Puzzle Piece Maker. Let me explain.
The pieces are all here, you and me, and it is our job to figure out what is going to create the most beautiful picture that will make sense and is meant for us.
For example, finding our soulmate is like finding the missing piece in our life. The person we are designed to meet and have a family with can only fit into that special place in our hearts and in our lives. And the pieces or people that do not have a place in our lives are lessons learned and give us better appreciation when the right piece does fall perfectly into place.
As we are arranging and rearranging our pieces, trying to figure out what is God's will for our lives, I think it is important to remember that God does in fact, have a will for our lives. We are not accidents. “God knit us in our mothers womb.” (Psalm 139:13)
And want to know the best part? God sees the whole picture. He sees our spiritual journey piece by piece. He knows how hard we are trying to get to Him even though we may fail. Not to mention, since God does see the whole picture, we should trust in Him since our vision is very limited.
I would say another reason I like this puzzle piece analogy is that all our lives are connected. We influence each other and affect each other. Each of our actions have consequences whether it is good or bad.
Although each of us have a certain purpose to fulfill does not mean this world is not puzzling at times. Hence, the title of this article. So, let us not lose hope in the Jigsaw Puzzle Piece Maker that has place for all of us in the even bigger picture: His Kingdom.
