How often do I walk down this road so lonely

Without realizing He’s there beside me

How often do I work by myself every day

Without realizing He’s there and could help me

How often am I so miserable and without company

Without realizing He’s there with me

How often must I act so proudly

Without realizing He offers only pure humility

How often must I walk this road from Emmaus

Without realizing I have with me my Lord Jesus
