Parched. Dry.
Barren of life.
Apart from You
Life has no meaning.
No joy. No light.
No health in me.
You know my heart, Lord.
It’s too full of hardness.
Too worldly.
Too empty of You.

Lighting my way.
Guiding me home.
Loving me clean, Lord.
Forgiving me all things.
Fill me with wonder.
