Atrocious Catastrophia in the World
I have often wondered how persons who are extremely faithful provides us all the gifts of belief in Jesus. Such a soul was Saint John Chrysostom of Egypt. This man came from a wealthy family living in Egypt and grew up as a prayer warrior who cared and respected the poor people. The day arrived when he had buried his parents and he gave away all of the wealthy things he possessed to the needy and suffering people. He did not take any money or personal things and then he left and ventured to live in the desert alone, as a hermit for a lot of years. His objective was to daily pray to God and at sometime in his life as a desert father, he sat down and created his famous praising of the Lord in church services. It is called the Divine Liturgy of Saint Chrysostom which is from start to finishs a depiction in chanting service of the whole life of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. This sermon observed over all the years and until today, was, and is, the essential part of liturgy especially in the Greek Orthodox faith. It is seemingly a dynamic celebration in the church service that gives praise to the Lord and always includes sweet chants to the Virgin Mary, mother of God. Although this liturgy is only one in it's existence, there is also the liturgy of the Catholic faith, however, both of these gifts are imperative for Sunday worship services. Furthermore, you can go on the web and seek the site entitled Goarch.com. Believe me, there is an enormous amount of things to read on this superb site and it is shown in English and Greek languages. The Divine Liturgy is listed and we can read this along with other eniviorins of this Christianity faith. The good part of Catholicism is they speak primarily in Latin. The feeling that you can enjoy is overwhelming since you can envision high spirtulaity that is heartfelt. At this time, everyone can enjoy their upcoming Easter holidays for they are all about the God that we love and should love the Lord.
Faithfully Yours and in faith of Jesus, Amen. Panayiotis Kourkoumelis, Sr.
