The WORD of this day 03/07/24
At all the Masses we will hear these STRONG messages and warnings from God to us TODAY!!
Jer 7:23-28
Thus says the LORD:
This is what I commanded my people:
Listen to my voice;
then I will be your God and you shall be my people.
Walk in all the ways that I command you,
so that you may prosper.
But they obeyed not, nor did they pay heed.
They walked in the hardness of their evil hearts
and turned their backs, not their faces, to me.
From the day that your fathers left the land of Egypt even to this day.
I have sent you untiringly all my servants the prophets.
Yet they have not obeyed me nor paid heed;
they have stiffened their necks and done worse than their fathers.
When you speak all these words to them,
they will not listen to you either;
when you call to them, they will not answer you.
Say to them:
THIS IS THE NATION that does not listen
to the voice of the LORD, its God,
R. If today you hear his voice, harden not your hearts.
Oh, that today you would hear his voice:
"Harden not your hearts as at Meribah,
as in the day of Massah in the desert."
Jl 2:12-13
Even now, says the LORD,
return to me with your whole heart,
for I am gracious and merciful.
Gospel
Lk 11:14-23
"Jesus was driving out a demon that was mute,
and when the demon had gone out,
the mute man spoke and the crowds were amazed."
Instead of being amazed and giving Jesus praise---they claimed Jesus was of the devil!!!
His reply---should be heard today, and this nation be warned!!!
"Every kingdom divided against itself will be laid waste
and house will fall against house.
But when one stronger than he attacks and overcomes him,
he takes away the armor on which he relied
and distributes the spoils.
Whoever is not with me is against me,
and whoever does not gather with me scatters."
AMERICA, if you do not turn back to God and acknowledge His Ways, and do as He commands you---YOU WILL be DESTROYED!! Just as in the days of Jonah---the reading of February 21st of 2024--40 days more, and "Forty days more and Nineveh shall be destroyed,"
when the people of Nineveh believed God; they were saved.
Will America hear and obey? What do you think?
When this reading was read at Mass--I marked off 40 days: it will be the Monday after Easter. I am also being led to see we may see and event that will happen this Good Friday similar to what happened when Jesus was crucified---The earth shook and the temple was rent! I know in my heart this is the year we will see all of prophecy being fulfilled. In Revelation and the warning or prophecies given by Mary and the saints.
AMERICA be warned!!! Don't be a 'scoffer'--Beloved of God ---Pray as never before and fast too, doing Penance as the Nevevites did, so that you will be saved, spared of what is to come and your family too protected from the horrors that will come upon this nation due to our leaders and the people turning their backs upon God--especially since 2022. Psalm 22--"My God, my God why have you forsaken me."
We have not been forsakened by God, but rather---We have forsakened our God!!!
Born the youngest of nine children, raised VERY Catholic across the street from Immaculate Heart of Mary church and school—Mom and Dad led by example and word their FAITH in God and saw to it that I was given 12 years of Catholic Education. (Mount St. Mary’s Academy/1965)
But, most importantly, because of my parents’ spiritual renewal after attending Cursillo Weekends, I too went on a retreat at our beloved Subiaco Abbey in Arkansas and there, at age 20, gave my life totally, surrendering all to my Lord and best Friend. This was my “Pentecostal” event that left me, like all the early Christians, on fire with God’s love and forever changed.
My husband Robert and I have been married for 54 this year in a marriage arranged by God. We have 8 children, two in heaven, 24 grandchildren, and 28 great-grandchildren. The story of our life together can be found in a book titled “My Journey, My Cross-As the Journals End,” published by Westbow Press . Our life together has been one awesome up and down roller coaster ride which enriched my heart with so many of the gifts of the Holy Spirit. I have found that the only way, Wisdom, Understanding, Words of Knowledge, Discernment, and Healing can be received is first by experiencing in your life the hurts of others. (and you yourself a sword will pierce)* so that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed.” Luke 2 v 35.
God has blessed me also many other talents and skills--but sometimes, blessings/gifts can and have caused problems or conflict in my life, as I am human and all too quickly that part of me shows up. Thank You God that You also show up!
