Refiner's Fire
I wrote this poem many years ago in high school. Its words are still true today. Many things in life transmit joy, but its source is ultimately from our Father above.
My Joys
The books adorn my room,
their pages wait for me.
The bus I ride to school,
speaks of simplicity.
The breakfast that I eat
gives sweet taste and smell.
The parents I so truly love
have held me when I fell.
The prayers in which I ask
of the Father above,
his blessing be upon me
and the peace of a dove.
