A Step Beyond Faith Part 3
Stop asking how
Reading a book, I came across this; Too often we let how will God, get in the way of what God wants us to do. WE can't figure out how to do what God has called us to do, so we don't do it at all. Let God figure out the how.
We need to learn to take that leap of faith. Yes, sometimes the very idea of what you are being lead to do seems crazy. We must learn to leap off the spiritual cliff no matter how crazy we see it to be and trust that God will do as he promised and give us the wings we need to fly.
Look at the feeding of the 5000. Jesus told the disciples to take the 5 loaves and 2 fish and feed them. The disciples must have thought " what? This is crazy. How is this little bit of food going to feed 5000?" Yet they took that leap of faith and what happened? Not only did they feed them all but had more left over than when they started.
Let God worry about the how. We just need to say "yes" and take that leap of faith. Not giving thought as to will I look like a fool or if you will get embarrassed. Who are we trying to please anyway? God or man?

My name is Robert LaFleur, I am 60 years old. I became a Catholic in 1986. By that statement you can conclude that I am not a “cradle Catholic”. I was raised in a oneness faith. Some of you know them as Pentecostals. In 1986, I became a Catholic. However at that time, I will admit now, it was not due to the fact I had a revelation about the Catholic faith. My reasoning at that time was because that’s what my new wife wanted. I went to Mass with her for a while but my heart wasn't in it. I was not ready for the commitment required to come to God. So I went many years following, that I never set foot in a church and did my best to not even think about God.
In 2014 a life changing event happened in my life. I lost a son in March of that year. After that (not immediately) is when my true conversion took place. My full conversion story is a story in itself which will be told at a later time.
