Discipleship: Kenosis-cont’d: Am I Worthy?
Have you ever intended to do something to express your frustrations and rail at fate which gave you crosses that you know in your heart will never end?
Well, I did. I sat down to write out my frustrations and list all the 'why me's' in thoughts that I was having.
When I began to put pen to paper, the Holy Spirit had other ideas. The Holy Spirit always knows what is best.
See below for what came out on the paper.
My wife and I thank the Lord every day for our son because this occurred.
Enjoy.
God has given us a child that gives the gift of a smile every day, thereby causing us to smile.
God has given us a child who shares a gift of wondrous song and therefore teaches us to listen.
God has given us a child who emanates love to all, thereby causing us to share and love in return.
God has given us a child who takes voracious joy in learning and therefore teaches others to love learning.
God has given us a child who experiences joy in the simplest pleasures of life and thereby allows those who care about and for this child to share those pleasures.
God has given us an extraordinary child with Autism, Epilepsy and Intellectual Disability, whom He has made in His image, and is therefore special.
Thank you God.
