It’s hard for Catholics to have hope today. It sometimes seems like there is degeneracy and evil everywhere, especially during June, designated “Pride Month.”
But things are changing this year.
Companies like Target have lost billions of dollars because of their Pride merchandise, which included kids’ clothing. Bud Light lost a lot of money and consumers as well after they invited transgender TikTok influencer, Dylan Mulvaney, to appear in a commercial.
I went to Pet Smart a couple of weeks ago and was annoyed to see a Pride display in the store, with rainbow dog toys and clothes. I heard that people were boycotting them because of the items, and the next time I went, the display was gone. I don’t know if this was because of the boycotts, but I’m sure they helped.
Even though I have seen Pride displays at other stores, they haven’t been as overt as the past four or five years. I assume that corporations are probably eyeing the scandals around conglomerates like Anheuser-Busch and aren’t advertising very many Pride items because they know customers will boycott, causing them to lose money.
People are starting to get tired of the Pride agenda being shoved down everyone’s throats. They are furious that companies are targeting children and infants with Pride merch. They are done being “canceled” over disagreeing with the LGBT community.
Catholics should be hopeful this June, even if the people in power are still attempting to promote Pride. The population is beginning to wake up and see that the people behind the agenda have evil motivations, desiring to deteriorate the innocence of children and chip away at our morals.
To the Catholics that read this: continue boycotting companies that advertise Pride products. You don’t have to stop shopping at every store that sells Pride merchandise, but it would be admirable to boycott a few (like Target and Bud Light). The boycotts this month have been effective. We need to fight with our wallets and push companies to stop advertising Pride.
