I am closer than your breath.
Close your eyes, breathe, and listen to the silence.
Feel your heart beat? That is my Life flowing through you.
Up through your neck, to supply your mind with oxygen.
Can you hear the slight gentle breeze?
Where it comes from you do not know, and where it is going is hidden from you.
Instead, do not worry about anything at all.
Just exist and breathe.
A million distractions everyday. Yet I Am Still.
I Am The Way.
Trust in me with your life, and you will never be disappointed.
Keep your mouth close to mine. Adore.
If you knew I were near, you would never worry.
Do you understand? Can you comprehend the love I have for you?
As the Psalmist wrote, "You formed my inmost being, you knit me in my mother's womb."
Every hair, every cell, every micro eco-system in your body, I accounted for it all.
Give me your life, and I will give it back to you.
If you hold it, you may lose it. If you adhere to your pride, you will be made humble.
Humility is my way.
The road is narrow and windy. Thorns and danger at every turn.
But if you look straight, if you look ahead, I am there.
Never look back, keep your head up, and do not be distracted by the thorns of this world.
Take a moment to stop and breathe. Listen to the silence.
I am closer than your breath.

My name is Will and I am 37 years old. I attended Catholic school my entire life, but like many in my generation, I fell away from the Church in high school and early in college. I consider myself a "re-vert" to the faith. I am married to the woman of my dreams and together we have three beautiful children, with one on the way!
I picked up the Bible to read the Gospels again when I was 22 years old, and the words of Christ haven't left me since. I began my new faith journey with struggle, still a sinner, but continually give my life to God through my marriage, prayer and the sacraments.
