A Glimpse of Heaven

It is surreal. The convention center alive with thousands of Catholics. Priest, Religious, Laity, young, old, families….people from all walks of life, from varying ethnicities and economic background coming together to witness the Faith to all those they meet.

Everyone genuinely happy and helpful treating one another with the utmost respect and concern.

We are one in the spirit, we are one in the Lord is what keeps resonating through my mind. All coming to be fed, coming to serve, coming to hear the Lord’s representatives teach us how BE CATHOLIC in the world today.

We must not be afraid to teach the gospel of the Lord. We must not be afraid to articulate the tenets of our Faith. We must not be afraid to let our light shine for all to see., and in these days we are shining!! Everyone is beaming, changing the world by being Christ-like and sharing their lives with all they meet.

People from all faith denominations talking together, not in hopes of converting each other but sharing in what we have in common - our love for Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

The eyes of our hearts are being opened, realizing that Our Lord loves each and every one of us. He is stretching us beyond our differences and bringing us to a mutual respect in what the Lord has given each of us to do. Realizing that the author of all, has a plan, with each of us on our own path, all intersecting in Philadelphia creating an atmosphere overflowing with love and joy.

It is a glimpse of Heaven on Earth.
