There is Emptiness: Before Our Genesis

The Prayer - You are Christ (by Saint Augustine of Hippo.)
You are Christ, my Holy Father, my Tender God, my Great King, my Good Shepherd, my Only Master, my Best Helper, my Most Beautiful and my Beloved, my Living Bread, my Priest Forever, my Leader to my Country, my True Light, my Holy Sweetness, my Straight Way, my Excellent Wisdom, my Pure Simplicity, my Peaceful Harmony, my Entire Protection, my Good Portion, my Everlasting Salvation.
Christ Jesus, Sweet Lord, why have I ever loved, why in my whole life have I ever desired anything except You, Jesus my God? Where was I when I was not in spirit with You? Now, from this time forth, do you, all my desires, grow hot, and flow out upon the Lord Jesus: run... you have been tardy until now; hasten where you are going; seek Whom you are seeking. O, Jesus may he who loves You not be an anathema; may he who loves You not be filled with bitterness.
O, Sweet Jesus, may every good feeling that is fitted for Your praise, love You, delight in You, adore You! God of my heart, and my Portion, Christ Jesus, may my heart faint away in spirit, and may You be my Life within me! May the live coal of Your Love grow hot within my spirit and break forth into a perfect fire; may it burn incessantly on the altar of my heart; may it glow in my innermost being; may it blaze in hidden recesses of my soul; and in the days of my consummation may I be found consummated with You!
In a world where I have been called pagan, and a heretic by ‘Christians’ Fundamentalists (or as probably St. Irenaeus will call them ‘Heretics’), I have decided to show the world why I am truly a Christian. God loved me that his only Son also died for my sins (Commentary on John 3:16). As a Catholic, I am a member of the UNIVERSAL Body of Christ, for that is the meaning of the world Catholic: The word Catholic comes from the Greek word ‘Katholikos’ which means universal. This word was first used by St. Ignatius of Antioch in his epistle to the Smrynaeans around the year 110 AD, prior Ignatius death (He was martyrized in the Colosseum at Rome. He was fed to wild beasts). In Chapter 8 (Titled “Let nothing be done without the Bishop”) of this epistle, he wrote: “See that you all follow the bishop, even as Jesus Christ does the Father, and the presbytery as you would the apostles; and reverence the deacons, as being the institution of God. Let no man do anything connected with the Church without the bishop. Let that be deemed a proper Eucharist, which is [administered] either by the bishop, or by one to whom he has entrusted it. Wherever the bishop shall appear, there let the multitude [of the people] also be; even as, wherever Jesus Christ is, there is the Catholic Church. It is not lawful without the bishop either to baptize or to celebrate a love-feast; but whatsoever he shall approve of, that is also pleasing to God, so that everything that is done may be secure and valid.” The Church of the Apostles, which is my Church (I can prove this historically, if anyone wishes I will be delighted to do it, However, many protestants will not accept any of the historical and theological arguments I will raise as I have seen. All arguments I use always are connected to The Early Fathers writings). My Church was open back there to all Jews and Gentiles, and is open now for all Jews and Gentiles. That is why we are universal. The doors of the Church are to welcome all pilgrims, as we are pilgrims of this world just walking to meet our King, the King of New Jerusalem.
So yes, I am a Christian. I am a member of the Body of Christ that was built by Christ himself. He is my truth, He is my inspiration, and He is my King. Without Christ, I am nothing else than a waterless river, but with Christ I am like a flower during spring, I am full of life.
