There is a quote that I love that says, "Nothing proves that you love someone more than mentioning them in your prayers." Most people, me included don't think much about praying for others. It's something that comes naturally, and something we just do. But really, it's quite meaningful.
Praying for others is mentioned in 42 verses of the Bible. And even though the phrase, " I'm praying for you." is over-used now a days, it still brings comfort to hear that. Praying for others is not something that needs to be complicated, or hard. Even asking God to bless someone is good enough. But praying for others is something that God intended. He wants us to do that.
I think that praying for others is something that goes un-noticed until you see profound effects. People need to see results, changes, or even a miracle to believe that praying for someone does some good. I know that from my own experience. But each of us has the ability. It does not take a lot of time, and it's simple. But the results are meaningful, and the effort is appreciated.
