As We Kneel

To celebrate my 30 years of marriage to my best friend I would like to share

this meditation with you. We were at Mass last Sunday and we kneeled down together.

I thought it was so awesome this humble submission to God. It was so powerful to kneel together.

To understand who it is we are kneeling to and
To offer praise and worship to Him. 
Spoken words, “Peace be with you” 

yet silent

as we kneel

Like a rhythmic drum, like a fine tuned orchestra, 

the lifetime dance 

as we kneel 

our wedding 

as we kneel

our children

as we kneel

our parents

as we kneel 

kneeling together in marriage

Get along. As we kneel.

Disagreements. As we kneel.

Feeling His spiritual support, He guides us.  We bring our sacrifices to Him.

What did we bring? What could we have brought? 

How oould we be better children of God?

As we kneel

This is the day we woke up and came to worship on our knees

This is the day of our Lord

This is the day are hearts are filled as we kneel, as we kneel.

Loved ones sick

Trees filled with fresh green leaves

Trees in the Autumn air 

Winter Upon Us

Lift us up oh Lord to your great Word

Bless our marriage of 30 years

Lift us, we pray, in your Holy Name, Bless us oh Lord

As we kneel, He Loves, 

As we kneel, He saves. 

Perpetual love, as we kneel

Pray your intentions

Ask for His Mercy

Seek His consolation

Come into Communion

Mary kneels

Joseph kneels

Saint Michael the Arch Angel and all the angels and saints... kneel

For the Scriptures say, “'As surely as I live,' says the LORD, 'every knee will bend to me, and every tongue will declare allegiance to God.'”
