We must count the cost.
What is going to cost us to follow Christ?>
The answer for each of us is uniquely different and yet it is the same.
The cost of giving up our own agenda, schedule and time.
Following Him where we don't want to go, into the abyss of self-knowledge.
Seeing all as the dependent sinful creatures we are.
Knowing that we are truly powerless in controlling the circumstances of our lives.
Each moment revealing itself as both gift and curse.
Leaving it is up to us to determine which it will be in our lives.
Accepting that He has a purpose and a plan.
Trusting Him like a little child in simplicity and faith.
We must count the cost.
What will it cost you to follow Christ?
