Bad Things Are Good?

God calls us to do many things. We are called to love, to be married or single, Father or Mother, and we are called to see people through things. Everyone goes through good times and everyone goes through bad times. It's during those hard times when we need God most. It's also during those hard times when we are called to be Christ to others.
We are called to be the voice of Christ. With the help of the Holy Spirit the right words will come to us. Sometimes all a person need is one encouraging word, one prayer lifted up to Heaven, or one perfect and fitting Bible verse to comfort them, to console them, and to remind them that God is with them.
We are called to be the hands of Christ. There is power in touch. It's not something that is used enough. In the hardest of times, the times when we feel that God has abandoned us, the times that someone is going through a loss or grief, the power of touch is very helpful. Holding someone's hand, giving someone a hug, putting a hand on someone's shoulder are all very helpful in times of need even though those are very simple acts.
We are called to be the heart of Christ. Everyone, no matter who they are was made by God deserves to be loved. Love is seeing another through a hard time. Love is wanting what is best for another. Love is reaching out to another person. Love is acting from the heart for the benefit of another person. Love is being patient and kind. Love is what Christ has called us all to do for one another. He did not call us to ignore people going through a hard time, or do nothing for someone going through a hard time. He called us to be like Him, and to see each other through.
