Unyielding Love, Given to God

When I came back to the Church in 2013 and after my first Confession since returning, I started to think a habit would be necessary to keep me from slipping into many vices and to correct myself into virtue. It took me a lot of pain and suffering, not to mention returning home in 2014, to decide I needed to start attending Confession frequently.
At first, I went twice a month, but that was not helping me get anywhere. Then, I decided I would make it at least one time a week, but I still did not feel satisfied. My soul would "feel dusty" as Padre Pio would indicate about souls who did not frequent Confession.
One day, as I was going to Wed Night Novena Mass, I decided to go to Confession. I had only been going on Saturdays up until that point, but this was an actual grace from another (God of course) to go that day. When I was absolved and I did my penance, I resolved then and there to make Wed and Sat my go to days for Confession, from now until I die. For the most part, I have kept to that rule all these years later.
My next post about Frequent Confession will be on "how to prepare".
