Do I Really Need Mass?

Well that’s interesting considering many Catholics have bible study groups right in their very homes. They read sculpture, discuss different topics pertaining to the Bible and hold discussions with the members that attend.
Also, many children who are Catholic and don’t attend Catholic school study the Bible on a weekly basis through a special catechism program that’s offered by the diocese. Those that attend Catholic school study the Bible on a daily basis in ‘religion’ class.
It’s interesting that someone would think that Catholics don't read the Bible when you consider how they live their lives. Most Catholics have studied the commandments God gave us, the Beatitudes; the spiritual and corporal works of mercy and try to live their lives the way Jesus would want them to live - either by example of Him or prayer.
No! Most Catholics don’t carry the Bible around with them and read it like some do, but instead, many of them live it by attending daily mass on a daily basis. Through the Lord’s vessel, the priest or pastor of the church, Catholics have come to know Our Lord, Jesus Christ intimately by the readings and gospels contained in the Bible. And what’s even more wonderful is that they receive Our Lord personally through the Eucharist.
For those who believe Catholics don’t read the Bible, I’d just like to a say to them, “you don’t know many Catholics”.
