I live in Ankeny, Iowa and work during the day as a Civil Engineer in Des Moines. I’m a father and step-father. I have served in several capacities at my parish including as a member of the Respect Life Committee, Parish Council, and Choir. I also Cantor, Lector, and facilitate Adult Faith. I enjoy reading, watching movies and listening to all genres of music. Writing and song writing are my favorite hobbies. I love thinking and writing about the intersection of faith and culture and I especially enjoy framing these issues within the context of storytelling. For many years, I was dead in my faith. Re-engaging my Catholic faith has been a journey of discovery and a work of love. I have learned so much in 20 years but there is more here than I will ever fully comprehend. But I don’t weary of the journey because each new discovery is like exploring a new and mystical place. It keeps me refreshed and excited.
