Feast of Trumpets
The Moon Tonight

When times get rough, and it becomes hard to feel secure,
The Lord of Light and Love shines in mysterious ways.
A moon so big, so luminous is seen, yes, so bright.
Inside its orb, a cross protrudes; it is a miracle for us,
A sign it is that He will guide the world tonight.
God has called us out of darkness, shown to us His light;
His cross above all is His sign of love, our redemption.
His hope for all men, His mercy, His words of truth
Are the North Star guiding us home to to heaven.
“Whoever lives the truth comes to the light,
So that his works may be clearly seen
As done in God.” (Jn 3:21)
So says the Lord. Amen.
